With SteviaSweet Crystal we use erythritol as a carrier and it is twice as sweet as sugar. For this reason, Crystal is dosed 1:2. Our SteviaSweet baking sugar consists of erythritol, isomaltulose and stevia. This allows easy dosing (1:1) and the baking results are improved by the isomaltulose.

Polyhydric alcohols are not “alcohol” in the conventional sense, i.e. potable alcohol, but so-called sugar alcohols or sugar substitutes

Polyhydric alcohols belong to the group of carbohydrates. Their content in our products is listed in the nutritional value table as a subgroup of carbohydrates with the indication “of which polyhydric alcohols”.

SteviaSweet sugar substitute products do not contain any ingredients of animal origin and are therefore suitable for vegetarians and vegans alike.

Our other products (except for the gummy bears) are without meat and fish. Some products are also dairy-free and egg-free and therefore suitable for vegans.

Erythritol is obtained from natural raw materials such as corn or pears and serves as a carrier and consists of polyhydric alcohols. Products that are 100% erythritol have a sweetening power of just 0.8 to 1.0 compared to sugar. Erythritol has a zero glycemic index, meaning it does not affect blood sugar levels. The sugar substitute erythritol is also ideal if you suffer from fructose intolerance and do not tolerate xylitol well.

All SteviaSweet sugar substitute products are gluten-free and can be safely consumed by people with celiac disease. As gluten-free foods, SteviaSweet sugar substitute products are easily digestible for everyone and therefore, as part of a balanced diet, promote general well-being.

We invest a lot of time in the development of our products with a focus on taste. Our products should be without added sugar, but still be sweet and delicious to eat. There are various ways to replace sugar, with some products the recipe with maltitol and stevia worked best. For this reason, we also use the sugar substitute maltitol in some products.

High sugar consumption can lead to increased acid formation in the mouth, resulting in tooth decay. The replacement of sugar by SteviaSweet can prevent this.

All SteviaSweet products can be safely consumed by pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Pregnant and nursing mothers can safely replace sugars with SteviaSweet. The nutritional needs of a woman change when she is pregnant or breastfeeding, so it is important to ensure that the daily calorie requirement is covered by other foods. Please follow your doctor’s instructions.
