Saffron and honey poached pears

3 large pears
5 dl unsweetened pear juice
4 tbsp SteviaSweet Honey
cinnamon stick
  pinch of ground saffron

To serve

200 ml Turkish yoghurt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp SteviaSweet Honey

Preparation

Place the juice, SteviaSweet HoneySweet, cinnamon stick and saffron into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Peel the pears and halve them lengthwise. Remove the core with a small spoon. Place the pears in the saucepan (no lid) and poach for around 15 – 20 minutes, depending on the size and type. Gently turn the pears over halfway through the cooking time. Leave to cool before serving.
 
Mix the ground cinnamon and SteviaSweet HoneySweet with the yoghurt and serve with the pears.
